Biography 

Nic Christiana is a singer and songwriter born in Birmingham. She has her own soulful sound and is influenced by the likes of Lauryn Hill and Ms Dynamite. Her journey in music started in 2014 when she  studied music performance at college. Her first song was called 'Lately'. At the age of 18 Nic flew to Aiya Napa where she shot her first music video for this single and it was later released on GRM Daily. She then studied music technology at De Mont Fort university in Leicester for 1 year because of her interest in music production. During this time she was approached by HQ Familia the music management company.  She released three singles under their label and started to grow her fan base. During this time she was approached by BBC introducing. She performed at two of their events during the same year. 

Nic's single 'Forget My Feelings' was played on BBC WM and she was also interviewed for their radio show. She also performed live in Amsterdam at the  'Amsterdamaged Festival'. In 2017 Nic applied for, won, and was awarded a full 3 year degree music scholarship from rock band Skunk Anansie to study music performance at The Academy of Contemporary Music in London. Nic was interviewed by Skin the lead singer and an article was published during this time along with the interview being published on youtube. At this time Nic moved to London.

In London she performed weekly at different open mic events, making connections and growing her following. She released her 2019 single 'Mindin my own', under the Bermuda label. This single  surpassed 30,000 views on Youtube and lead to radio play on radio stations; Hot 92, Newstyle and The beat London. Nic recorded and produced her next music video ‘That’s just my life’ in Dubai'. In the Summer of 2019 she released her single 'That's Just My Life' and started to get recognition for her work. She was booked by a music production company for two months in Morocco and  performed at 5* resort 'La Table Du Marche'. During this time she was featured on Billboards, radio stations and participated in photo shoots and performances with her own live band. In the winter of 2019 Nic then released her single 'Try Me'. Her Spotify analytics stated that  27K people had listened to her music and streamed her songs 49.5K times over 2K hours in 79 different country's. In 2020 Nic decided to spend time working and developing her sound, she recorded over 40 songs during the time of the Coranavirus pandemic and released music collaborating with different artists to target other audiences. A song titled 'Think Bout You' surpassed 100 thousand views on Youtube.  Her next single is due to be released in April this year.
